 Independence Day special

Today was a Momentous day,

63 yrs back was the D-Day.

She was freed from the shackles,

To ride high on her own heels.

The Mother,

Growing economically,

Flourishing agriculturally,

Powering intellectually,

Smiling happily, and

Leading gracefully.

That’s India portrayed elegantly,

But not originally.

Wish the entire above are real

And not reel.

So, common, modern India,

Get out of the morning blues,

Start making waves,

To give India a unique name.

Let India rise high,

Making the world sigh.
