Pretty pretty girl!

There walked in my life a pretty girl
who made my heart go into a whirl
She seemed the most beautiful pearl
and my mind wanted to her unfurl

Why Lord you hid from me so long your best creation
one whom I couldn't have thought of in wildest imagination
Every look onto her fills me with awe fascination
and in my life unknowingly has made a transformation

I long to tell to her all in my heart
but how and where am i supposed to start
I fear that that day she would from me dart
and punish me by living far away and apart

I remind myself that life is ephemeral
Thoughts arise many times that are cynical
But someday i must ask for her approval
and i hope with me she will don the attire bridal
